This sounds much much better than the story above it! But, we still need the Alternative Fuel Vehicles!

One post says oil is going up, another says it's going down.
The only thing for certain is that gas is up over 40 cents a gallon recently.

Don't count on much of a decline for any length of time.

This is laughable. "Oil may go up," "oil may go down." Let's face it: no one really knows whats going to happen.

Only if the speculators get out of the market, which isn't likely.

This is a good example of why I pay little attention to Bloomberg. The previous article, from Bloomberg, said oil would close higher.

Did everybody read the article? Did you catch the part about: "Crude oil may fall next week on... speculation that demand will decrease next month"
Did you get that? Speculators lowering prices. Will Congress call the investment bankers in to thank them for lowering the nation's energy bills? DIdn't think so.

Over the longer run, oil prices will continue to climb. We need to reduce our use of oil - it's the only real way to combat the rising oil prices.
